Guest Ratings & Reviews
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were small but comfortable, equipped with essential amenities like a fridge and microwave. I appreciated the presence of a decent TV, good lighting, and even an iron and ironing board for convenience. The service, however, had its flaws as they were not very helpful with my inquiries and initially assigned me a room with an unpleasant odor in the basement. The location was convenient for airport access but not ideal for downtown trips. The dining experience was average, with limited options early in the morning. Despite some shortcomings, the hotel offered good value for the money.
The hotel has a minimalist style in the rooms, showing their age but still wouldn't deter me from staying here again. The location is perfect near JFK airport, even though it's in a more remote area of New York. The dining experience was excellent with a large choice and very fresh options, making it an added advantage. The staff was extremely accommodating, including the front desk, shuttle, and restaurant, although they sent me to a room in the basement with an unpleasant smell initially.
Upon entering the hotel, I found the rooms had everything that was needed, with a decent TV, lighting, safe, and fortunately an iron and ironing board, which came in handy for my meeting. However, the rooms seemed a bit worn out and not very efficient. The layout was a bit tight with doors that could collide when opened at the same time.
The hotel's location was good for the money, especially in New York, with roomy and airy spaces and a hearty complimentary breakfast. The rooms, although sandwiched between an expressway and a Citgo station, were what you would expect from a Fairfield Inn albeit slightly older. The service, while very close to the airport, had some issues at the front desk with unfriendly attitudes. Dining was just fine, although I regretted moving elsewhere after staying only one night. The pool area was well-maintained, providing great value for the price overall.
The hotel is conveniently located near JFK airport with a free shuttle service, making it ideal for travelers. The rooms are clean and comfortable, although they may feel small and noise from neighboring rooms can be a drawback. The dining experience could be improved, but the service is exceptional. Overall, it offers good value for money for a short stay.
